December 2 Beyond Sustainability: An Inspiring Vision of the Next 250 Years (Bothell, Washington, United States)
NICA (Northwest Intentional Communities Association presents this free evening program at Songaia Cohousing Community, 15 miles from Seattle. The program is an exploration of how "The Great Story" - the epic of evolution told as a sacred story - bridges science and religion and how it provides common ground for theists, atheists, humanists, and spiritual seekers of all sorts. This way of thinking about the Universe and our relationship to it inspires people to relate to social justice and environmental sustainability in an entirely new way. Particularly pertinent to communitarians, will be a discussion of the role of cooperative living and intentional communities.
