Earth Rising Sanctuary

Earth rising sanctuary is located on a beautiful piece of property in northeast washington overlooking the Columbia River and mountains of Canada. Seminars and healing arts gatherings are regularly held on the property for those who desire to share and learn techniques in the self-healing arts for the individual and the Earth. We are looking for more members who are interested in growing both on the agricultural and personal levels. Artists and healers are also very welcome and our space can be affordably rented by anyone interested in holding a gathering of their own.

Winter residence is available in the community building for $100 a month plus 12 hours work and a share of the expenses (primarily plowing and propane for cooking.) There is also the option of paying $200 which would cover expenses , no labor required.

We are also looking for an earth conscious buyer to purchase the neighboring 20 acre property for $75,000. This land also has stunning views of the Columbia River and surrounding mountains. Our neighbor is being kind in giving us a window of time to find the right person or group of people. I am a lady organic micro-farmer --- grow for a CSA and wholesale customers in the Clark County, WA and Portland, OR area, currently on rented farmland. I manage about an acre, small greenhouse (hoop structures coming this Fall) and commercial worm beds (would need covered shop/barn area for these and other tools) and live in a travel trailer inside a barn. I have lifetime subsistence income coming in + whatever I can earn from vegetables, all the necessary resources and skills, but no lump sums of cash. Looking for kindred spirits, any age, who are already ensconced or ready to join lives with someone who is looking to settle down on permanent land where we can grow food for ourselves and for market, while providing personal support to one another.

Our family of four (mom, dad, and two children), recently purchased 8.5 acres of beautiful land in a very scenic location near Mount Vernon, WA. The land currently has a good well and good septic system, but it would be prohibitively expensive to bring in power. There is no dwelling currently on the land, but we are open to a yurt, trailer, straw bale house, or other creative homes.
We are interested in sharing this venture with another like-minded family, couple or individual in order to share expenses, work, and lifestyle. Your buy-in would be approximately $400.00 per month and preferably half of the solar/generator power system. We currently have an estimate for $16,000 for the power system. For your investment, we would explore legal options to protect your (and our) investment. We could share monthly expenses (such as propane).
The land would probably not support horses, but we do hope to have two to four llamas, goats, and chickens. There is also a nice area for a large garden. On the land are large cedar trees, a salmon creek, a seasonal pond, and a spring.
