 We seek to create a cohousing community in urban Portland, Oregon. Our primary wish is to live in a place where our multigenerational neighbors know each other like an extended family. We wish to live among neighbors who want community support through the cycles of life, have a desire to simplify and live sustainably, and keep an active connection to larger community. We wish to live with neighbors who help us nurture our spiritual values and practices, whatever they may be. We wish to create a community accessible to those with a diversity of personal abilities.
The community is thrilled to have moved through several exciting phases. We closed on our site on October 25, 2006 and submitted our design for permits on June 19, 2007. We closed our construction loan on August 19, 2008 and began construction on August 21, 2008! We anticipate moving in October 2009.
We are actively seeking members to join what we believe is already an exhilarating community.
