House in the Woods Seattle
Seattle, Washington,
United States
First and most importantly is that we like our home to have a family-type atmosphere to it.
Location:
Our house was formally in the middle of a small patch of woods on a dirt road in the U-district of Seattle, right off the Burke Gilman bike trail.
As of September 1st it will be on the edge between the Central District and Leschi.
Numbers and other specifics:
Rent, food, and bills are usually no more than $450/month. Sorry, our lease does not allow furry pets.
Other important facts of the house:
-We live cooperativly, meaning we share responsibilities equally, and make
decisions by consensus at house meetings every other week.
-We purchase vegetarian food collectively and often share dinners together.
-Our collective interests include:
playing the fiddle, guitar, percussion, rock climbing, camping, hiking
traveling, farming, yoga, meditation, singing, baking, writing and reciting poetry/spoken word, reading, story telling, painting, drawing, dumpster diving, bicycling...
Our house does not have a TV. We value quality time spent with each other and
our friends. We encourage each others personal, artistic, and spiritual growth.
If you have questions that weren't answered, please call 206-523-1955.
Thanks, and enjoy your day,
