Our new community house & one of the bedrooms
We are a small (eight adults, three children) intentional community sharing a 10-acre forested sanctuary on Bainbridge Island, Washington, a half hour ferry ride from downtown Seattle, Washington. We are a community of families and friends living in harmony with each other, nature, and spirit. Our purpose is to respect and protect Mother Earth now and for the future by embracing community living, voluntary simplicity, and earth-based spirituality.
Our lifestyle has us sharing a communal kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and laundry facilities. In addition, we each have private bedrooms and/or cabins. As of October 2009, we have no available residential units.
Our houses and cabins are charming and handcrafted, blending with our forest surroundings. Our lifestyle is respectful of and in balance with the natural world. We honor our forest and our land here with rituals and prayer, personally and collectively. We believe that our lives are enriched by the spiritual and personal growth generated by the challenges and joys of community living.
