The Red House

 We are a communal rented house in Vancouver BC's Strathcona neighbourhood, near Chinatown. We have five rooms, filled with five roommates. We purchase food and household items communally, and have a chore wheel for bi-monthly and monthly tasks. We each cook dinner once per week. We have irregular consensus-based house meetings. We try to grow some of our own food, but it's a very limited amount in our front yard.
