OUR IMAGINATION AND PASSION in how to participate in bringing about the future we hope for, took us to envision ‘Gaia Shifts’. We are setting 33 south facing acres of land aside as a land trust* or land legacy, this being our exploration to live on the planet sustainably with a reduced footprint, and preserve this land as safe and affirmative space for womyn into the future
WHAT MOTIVATES US:
As we face overwhelming global & local social, economic and ecological crises, from global warming, natural disasters, to nuclear meltdowns and wars, we are challenged to think in new paradigms as far as our economies, food and way of life go.
CHALLENGE TO OURSELVES:
to support each other collaboratively thru present mazes of complex human relationships in these stressfull times, share our resources, ideas, and inventions. What kind of (small) homes can we explore building, that incorporate local creative designs and materials, remain affordable and demonstrate global awareness of the importance of reducing our individual/communal/regional footprint.

It seems we may presently be in a window of opportunity to participate in transformative ways that support survival and thriving on the planet.
